Copy What's New is a free tool that helps you locate new files on your computer and then quickly back them up to your preferred directory. It's specifically designed to find and copy files modified by date in one folder, and then copy them to another, maintaining the same folder structure. This is useful, for example, for creating regular backups of your files.
The search for files by date can be done both in folders and in units, of course, in the latter the process can take several more minutes depending on the size of the partition. It also supports removable disk drives such as USB sticks and others.
It works like this :
- The folder / drive where the files are to be searched is selected, and then the age in days to search for the files is indicated.
- The destination folder / drive where the listed files are to be copied is selected. (We can remove those that we do not want to copy)
- Click Copy and you're done!
When new files are installed , the "Copy new files" option is integrated into the context menu, allowing you to launch the program at any time by right-clicking on any folder in Windows Explorer and selecting "Send to > Copy new files".
We'd like to let you know that this innovative , free application was developed by Andres Carriza from Argentina, and this is its first version. It's fully compatible with all versions of Windows (7/Vista/XP/2003, etc.) and its installer file is only 602 KB.
