What's striking about Ge.tt is that it lets you upload multiple files at once, either by uploading them or using drag and drop. You'll then get shortened links to share directly via social media and email. This way, the recipient won't have to wait seconds or minutes for the download to complete.
While uploading your files, in real time you will have a preview of each one of them and you can edit them by assigning them a new name. As for the statistics, you will see how many times a file has been downloaded and, in the pure style of Facebook, you will have the notifications in a world icon.
For all these reasons, I consider Ge.tt a very good alternative to consider; I've been using it for a couple of months to share all kinds of files quickly and easily 
