How does an LED lamp work?

A separate option is to leave the transformer and directly change the halogen lamp for an MR16 or GU5 LED. The most affordable option is to eliminate the transformer by bridging, although it is more work than the second option.

- Size: Like lighting, an LED bulb takes up less space than an incandescent bulb.
- Brightness: LED diodes are brighter than a normal light bulb, and furthermore, the light is not concentrated at one point, like the filament of the light bulb, but the diode shines in the same way.
- Duration: an LED bulb can last for 50.000 hours, which is equal to six years constantly on. This is 50 times more than an incandescent light bulb.
- Consumption: a traffic light that switches to LED bulbs will consume 10 times less with the same amount of light generated.
