How to add shortcuts to Computer from any file or folder

All of us Windows users have our favorite programs or folders that we go to more frequently than others, regardless of the day-to-day activity we do on the computer, work, play, leisure ... there will always be those directories, applications or documents that more use.

That means we need something to help us access them faster, so as not to have to go from drive to folder and desktop several times, because that "something" is what we know as Shortcuts and if we add them directly to Team (My PC), it is an ideal solution to improve our productivity.

Shortcuts in My Computer (Computer)

Step 1:.- Open Windows Explorer, press the Alt key and go to the Tools menu> Folder Options> View. Activate the option Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

If it is necessary also there, also uncheck the box "hide protected operating system files".

Step 2:.- Now follow the following path, until you reach the folder Network Shortcuts:

C: UsersYourUSERAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsNetwork Shortcuts

Take into account that "C" is the drive where you have Windows installed and "YOURUSER" is the name you have as the user of the computer.

Step 3:.- There create shortcuts of your favorite folders, programs or paste files of what you want to be displayed on Computer. The following is an example capture of what the final result will look like.
