Tray: Eject the CD / DVD drive tray when it is stuck

It is not something very frequent but it usually happens that the reader tray sometimes does not open (or eject) when we manually click on the button of the reader itself. So we try to do it from the My Computer (Computer) panel unit, but it doesn't work either, what do we do then?... Oh resort to the last resort: the old trick of physically inserting a needle into the small hole of the reader, which never fails.

However, it is good to know that we can also try other alternatives that are also effective, such as using exclusive applications for these cases. One of them tray, with a simple name, is a free utility able to open or close the tray of CD/DVD drives; easily and instantly.

As we can see in the previous screenshot, its interface is clear, where when it is run it automatically lists all the available optical drives and it is only a matter of selecting the option that we need: open or close. It's that simple.

Mention that tray it also detects virtual drives, but according to the author pressing the 'Open' button may work to load (mount) disk images, depending of course on the software used.

tray it is compatible with Windows in its versions 7/Vista/XP/2000, etc. It is in English and it is very light, only 713 KB in a ZIP file.
