It is very annoying to find a site that copies your content and that publishes them as if it were the owner, even worse is knowing that this site has advertising (AdSense especially) and earn money at the expense of your work, time and effort with a simple "copiate and paste”, Either manual or automated.
This practice undoubtedly affects the author considerably in many aspects, that is why today we will see how to report content to Google and AdSense. If you previously contacted him cyber thief and he ignored your request to remove your articles (or at least copy part of it and cite the source), then this post is what you need.
1. Report copied content to Google
Google has a form to remove content from Google of the search engine, which is for different products, we will choose the option of Web search:
Then we choose the option «The reason for the request is a matter of a legal nature not included among the above«:
I have found content that may infringe my copyright.
Yes, I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
At this point 2 options are presented, choose the type of infringing material in question; either pictures u
Others. Depending on the option you choose, -in this case Others- You must read the instructions before completing the online notification that will be presented in the claim form to send the request.
Finally we will go to a complaint form which we must fill in with our personal data, identify and describe the material protected by copyright, enter the location of the authorized example of the material, location of the infringing material. The latter by specifying the URLs.
This in order to verify our authorship.
2. Report copied content:
In this copied content report form, where the complaint is simpler than in method 1 explained above, since you only need to enter the URLs of original content and the copied content, with additional comments where you must explain that you are the author.
3. Report copied content to AdSense
It is the turn to notify AdSense that the content is being copied from us, through a report on infringements from one of its publishers (the copypastero). In this AdSense policy violation formBy entering your personal data and your AdSense publisher ID, you can provide the URL of the site that commits the violation and also specify your content protected by copyright. With final comments on the details of the infraction.
4. Report AdSense Violations:
This other method is very easy and it is done through the same AdSense ads on the site that violates the policies, we choose an ad from the web page that copies us and we click where the following capture points, to enter the page from "About Google Ads«:
We will be redirected to AdSense Help, where we must scroll to the bottom of the page to find the option: «Feedback on the website or ad you just viewed«.
Here we select that the violation occurred on the website and the option «The site violates the policies of the AdSense program in some other way.»
We add the information that we consider pertinent to mention about the plagiarism of our articles, and optionally our email if we want to stay informed about the result of our complaint.
5. Scraper Report:
Update: Form no longer available.
En this link I share another excellent form (in English) to report plagiarized content to Google:
This form is more accurate, as you can indicate the URL of the site that copies your content and put the URL of your original content. That's not all, you can also paste the URL of the results in Google as proof of plagiarism
Voila! Those are some of the methods of reporting copied contentI hope you find it useful and your sites never fall victim to copy-paste cybercriminals
