Reorder desktop icons it has always been an annoying task that every user would like to be able to avoid, this because each of us keep our icons 'arranged' according to the way that we like best. Now, what causes this unexpected icon clutter? And what to do to avoid it? Well, you have to know that when change screen resolution, run some games, access via remote desktop and other situations make us lose the 'dear' order of our icons.
How to avoid this? Thanks to DesktopOK, free application for Windows which will help us to save the positions of our icons to be able to restore it when necessary.
DesktopOK it's a simple portable utility which is in charge of saving the configurations of the icons on our desktop, so that we can later restore them when the occasion requires it. As we can see in the screenshot, it has a simple interface (in English and German) of intuitive use, where it is a matter of clicking the button 'Save'so that said configuration is immediately saved, in a Notepad file (.ini) in the program directory and named after the resolution of our monitor. With the button 'Restoratione 'we can restore the icons to the state we want.
It should be noted that the backups can be multiple, that is, with more than one resolution or version of our desktop. It also has extra functions such as ordering the icons in a random position (Punch the Icons (randon position)), minimize windows and running files to the system tray, autostart with the system and others.
DesktopOK is a excellent utility friends, if we used to keep our desk to mere personalized taste.
