If we use System restore manager, restore system y manage restore points, as well as all its related settings, it will be more accessible, fast, practical, efficient and without having to scroll through so many menus and tabs as it usually is in the traditional way in Windows. This is because all the options that we require to manage it are in one free application and portable.
System restore manager it does not need to be installed and once it is run, all the restore points created will be loaded automatically. As we can see in the previous screenshot, the program has the basic options for: Create restore point, delete restore points and of course restore system. In addition to allowing us allocate disk space for restore points, change restore point creation intervals (24 hrs in Windows 7 by default), change their permanence (Time to Live), by default it is 90 days in Windows 7. Without forgetting of course the valuable button 'System Defaults', to bring up the default system settings, in case we set something wrong.
System restore manager It has been developed and tested on Windows 7, but it can be compatible with other versions as well. It's free and lightweight, only 230 KB (Zip).
