WinRAP: Hide running applications in Windows

WinRAP

Hide folders and running apps, it can be very useful to maintain our privacy, in the event that there are always people around us (peepers) watching what we do. For this, there is an excellent free tool that we can use, it is about WinRAP.

WinRAP (Windows Running Aapplications Protector), is a free program 479 KB that does not need installation (portable), available only in English but with a fairly intuitive way of use. Once you run it, in the «List of running applications»You will see everything that is running (folders, programs ...), now to hide any of them, it is only a matter of selecting it and then clicking on«Hide«, Or press the quick key«H«. This will take you to the list of hidden applications («List of hidden applications«), From where you can unhide them (Unhide - U).

The interesting thing is in its blocking modalities of the program itself, based on passwords and in three ways from the «Lock» menu:

  1. NormalMode: It consists of hiding the program's management buttons, that is, the close button will not be available, however you can minimize it to the taskbar.
  2. TrayMode: If you select this option, WinRAP will be located in the system tray (next to the clock) and to open it it will be necessary to enter the password.
  3. stealth mode: As its name says, it is an invisible mode, and only accessed from the Task Manager. (A bit complex).

In the settings menu, you can change the default password (1234), as well as enable / disable the hotkeys, Task Manager, define hotkeys and others.

WinRAP It is free, compatible with Windows in all its versions 7 / Vista / XP / 2000, etc. What do you think about it? Very interesting right.
